Instructor - Richard Herndon

Richard has been training at Phoenix Martial Arts (formerly Grantham Martial Arts) for over 7 years, and in that time has trained very consistently to become one of the senior Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu students/instructors at PMAA.  A dedicated student who manages to balance his training with his work (Richard is a Gwinnett Co. High School Teacher) and family life, Richard brings a very positive energy to the school.  His accomplishments include:

Jing Mo Kuen - Black Belt -2nd Degree  (Senior Instructor)
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu - Purple Belt (4th Degree) - Instructor
Wing Chun - Brown Belt
Kali - Green Belt

 

Richard is the senior instructor of the Jing Mo Kuen (JKD) class, as well as the Instructor of our Combat Submission Wrestling Class (MMA).
