Formerly an Instructor (from 1995 - 1999) at the Francis Fong Martial Arts Academy under Sifu Francis Fong, Sifu Grantham also taught the majority of the Kali/Escrima classes at the Academy from 1994 -1999. Sifu Grantham has been training directly with Sifu Fong since 1989.

The following is a list of instructors with whom Sifu Grantham has had the privilege of  training,  but is inclusive only of those who have had the most effect on his martial arts development.  Some of the training consisted of anywhere between 2 and 30 hours of private lessons, to 10 years of classroom training on a daily basis.  These instructors are listed to show appreciation and respect for their open sharing of their knowledge and experience.

Sifu Francis Fong - Single most powerful influence on my martial arts development since 1989.  Sifu Francis has been very generous in his teaching over the years, and he has provided inspiration on many different levels for my personal growth.  Truly a gifted instructor!

Sifu Dan Inosanto - A man who has somehow managed to remain above the politics that runs rampant in the martial arts world.  He is an excellent example of proper etiquette.  In the 19 years I have known Sifu Dan, I have never heard him say a negative word about anyone!
Sifu Damon Caro - Senior Instructor - Inosanto Academy, Los Angeles, CA - Perhaps the best JKD/Kali teacher after Sifu Dan Inosanto.  More importantly, a genuinely gifted and open person.
